Born in Larry's River, Guysborough County, he was a son of Charlotte (Avery) and the late Joseph Pellerine. He was a full member of the Buffalo Club, Wentworth Street, Dartmouth. He is survived by his common law wife Evelyn; five brothers, Simon and Walter, both of Dartmouth; Ronald, Brockton, Mass.; George, Larry's River; Fred, Stellarton; five sisters, Delphine (Mrs Richard Rogers), Angus, Ont.; Sadie (Mrs Bernard Hayes), Oromocto, N.B.; Kay (Mrs George Duchesneau), Quebec; Mrs Eva Zwicker, Toronto; Hattie (Mrs Otto Kline), Antigonish. He was predeceased by a brother, Edward. The body has been cremated. A Buffalo service was held 7 p.m. Tuesday from A.L. Mattatall's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Larry's River at a later date. No flowers by request.
