30 Nov.1857 - Died - Suddenly, at Truro, 6th inst; Susan, widow of the late James Gourley, aged 86 years. - On Tuesday, 24th inst; after a short illness, Hon. William Grigor, M.D., Member of the Legislative Council in the 58th year of his age. [ His remains were interred at 3 o'clock on Thursday afternoon]--- A native of Elgin, Scotland, came to N.S., in 1819 practiced for a short time at Antigonish and afterwards for 5 years at Truro. In 1827, he married Louisa, fourth d/o the late James Forman, Esq., by whom he had 9 children---4 of whom survive. 05 Dec.1857 - Died - At Truro, on the 11th Nov., Frank, only c/o Lemuel and Augusta McNutt, aged 16 months. 12 Dec.1857 - Died - At Lower Village, Truro, and about the same time, the followin, namely: Mary Ann, d/o Charles McNutt, aged 11 years. Simon, s/o Stearns, aged 10 years. Shaw, s/o Stearns McNutt, aged 19 years. Ann, w/o Stearn McNutt, aged 40 years. Mary Margaret d/o William McNutt, aged 16 years. The above were all members of one family, and died of ulcerated sore throat. 19 Dec.1857 - Died - At Tatamagouche, on Sat., 12th inst; the Rev.
