Cox, in the 68 year of her age. - At Truro, on the 17th inst; of whooping cough, Arthur B., infant s/o John Burnyeat, Esq; aged 2 years and 5 months. 21 Sept.1857 -Died - At Gay's River,1st inst; between 12 and 1 o'clock a.m., Mary, in the 74 year of her age, a native of Devonshire, England, relict of the late Thomas Millar, of inflammation of the lungs, after a severe illness of 10 days. 03 Oct.1857 - Married- At Onslow,28th Sept., by Rev. Henry Charlton, Edmund W. Hamilton, to Miss Harriet N; youngest d/o Simeon H. Blair, both of Onslow. - Died - At Truro, on the 1st inst; of whooping cough, Frank W. D., s/o John Burnyeat Esq; aged 4 years and 5 months. - A gentleman from Londonderry informs us of the following lamentable occurance - William Vance, of Masstown, Lodonderry, left Economy on the 22nd of August, entirely elone in a large sailboat, for his home, and has never been seen or heard of. It will be remembered that Saturday, the 22nd Aug., was very stormy towards night and there is no doubt that the boat floundered - COLONIST.
