Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of Thomas and Jean (Wright) Rector. He was a Grade 11 student in Charlottetown Royal Senior High School. He had been a resident of P.E.I. for seven years. He is survived by his paternal grandfather, Thomas Rector, Pine Tree; two brothers, Steven and Troy, both at home; a sister, Tracey, at home. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs Eric Wright; paternal grandmother, Mrs Thomas Rector. Funeral service was 2 p.m.Thursday, July 23 at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow, Rev. John Openshaw officiating. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery, New Glasgow.
