Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of Gladys (Miller) and the late Stephen Reynolds. He was a former employee of Hawker Siddeley Ltd., Trenton, and was retired from Scott Maritimes Ltd. He was a Second World War veteran, having served with the First Canadian Paratroop Regiment. He is survived by his wife, the former Lyda Forward; three daughters, Shirley (Mrs Paul Doucette) and Marilyn (Mrs Ron Chiasson), both of Trenton; Marion (Mrs Philip McCarron), New Glasgow; a son, George, Vancouver; a sister, Marion (Mrs Roy Stewart), Coalburn; four grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sisters, Gladys and Mima; two brothers, Doug and Gordon. Funeral was Saturday, June 4 in First Presbyterian Church, Stellarton, Rev. Charles MacPherson officiating. Burial was in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to! the Canadian Heart Fund.
