    3. 23 June 1855-Died- At Upper Stewiacke,6th inst; Noah Bently, in the 61st year of his age. His death was very sudden, having been taken with aslight indisposition only the Saturday previous. 11 Aug. 1855 -Died - At Lower Londenderry, 12th July, James M. Spence, Esq; in the 64th year of his age. As a man he was loved and esteemed by all who knew him- as a magistrate, his judgement was respected- and as a Christian he endeavered to maintain a deportment becoming a professor of religion. His last illness was protracted, but born with resignation and meekness. His remains were followed to their last resting place by a very large company of mourning relatives and sympathizing friends. (Novascotian 13 Aug.) 13 Aug. 1855- Married- At Onslow,18th ult; by Rev. D.W.C. Dimock, Henry (Baptist Licentiate), s/o Silas Crane Charlton, of Annapolis,to Bessie M; third d/o Simeon H. Blair, Onslow 22 Aug. 1855 -Married-At Charlottetown, Tues;31st ult;by Rev.W. Snodgrass, James Ross, Earltown,N.S. to Miss Prsicilla Louisa Coffin,of Savage Harbour. 25 Aug. 1855 Married - At Salem, William S. Cox, Truro, N.S. to Miss Amelia Yuill, of Salem. - Died- At Tatamagouche,8th inst; after a painful and protracted illness, James Campbell, Esq; Late M.P.P; for the Northern District of Colchester, aged 54 years. 08 Sept. 1855 - Married- At Upper Stewiacke 10th ult; by Rev.
