Born in Souris, P.E.I., he was a son of the late Joseph and Sarah (MacLeod) Pope. He is survived by his wife, the former Annie Marshall; three sons, including Donald and William, both of Pictou; four daughters; two brothers; a sister; eight grandchildren. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday (today) in Knox Presbyterian Church, Earltown, Rev. Rod Lamb officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Donations may be made to any charity.
