Born in Alberton, P.E.I., she was a daughter of the late Asa and Emaline (Wallace) Wells. She was a member of First United Church, Trenton, and of the United Church Women and the Senior Citizens Friendly Group. She is survived by a step-daughter, Shirley (Mrs Ruban Day), Westville; two step-sons, Charles Reid, New Glasgow; Chipman Reid, Trenton; a sister, Mrs Lydia Matthews, Alberton; serveral nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers: Robert and Heber, and two infant brothers. Funeral was held Thursday, Dec. 31, at R.H. Porter Funeral Home, Trenton, Rev. Alfred Woodworth officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery in the spring.
