Rickert, 60, of 43 Acadia Ave., Stellarton, formerly of Bridge Ave., Stellarton, died Thursday, Mar. 3 in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Stellarton, she was a daughter of the late William and Josephine (Robak) Grisko. She lived in Stanford, Conn. all her married life, and moved back to Stellarton some 15 years ago. She worked in the housekeeping department at Aberdeen Hospital for nine years until retirement. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Stellarton. Surviving is a brother, Michael Elchuck, Stellarton; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Connie; a sister, Helen Burrows; a brother, John; a half-brother, Bill. Funeral mass was Sunday, Mar. 6 in Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
