Born in Mountville, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Jane (MacLeod) MacNeil. She lived all of her married life in Moncton. She was the last surviving member of the MacNeil family. Surviving is her son, Alden and several nieces and nephews in Pictou County. She was predeceased by her husband, Amos and two infant daughters. The remains have been cremated. A committal service will be held in the spring at Elmwood cemetery, Moncton.
