Born in Lower Barney's River, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Lydia (Patton) Arbuckle. She was a member of Trinity United Church, New Glasgow, where she was a Sunday school teacher for 32 years. She was a member of the Golden Link Rebekah Lodge, Past Noble Grand Club, Past Chiefs Club, LOBA and past-president of the Ladies Auxiliary Royal Canadian Legion Branch 29. She was a member of the Golden Years, Heritage Club, and Pythian Sisters. She is survived by her husband, Warren; a daughter, Doris (Mrs. Hubert Mahnion), Auburn, Ca.; a grandchild; a sister, Loretta (Mrs. Stirling O'Donnell), Stellarton; three brothers, Willard, Merigomish; Alexander, Pictou; Norman, Downsview, Ont. She was predeceased by her first husband, Harry C. Nason; two brothers, Wesley and Raymond, and two sisters. The remains will rest in! R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow, after 7 p.m. today. Funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Trinity United Church, New Glasgow. Interment will be in Murray's Point cemetery, Lower Barney's River.
