06, Jan.1855 -Married- On the 28th Sept; by the Rev.Ebenezer Ross, Capt. Loran Cochran of Newport, to Miss Manella Weir, of Londenderry,d/o John, Esq. -Died- At Truro,12th ult; with resignation to the Devine Will, Rachel, beloved w/o Thomas J. Brown, Esq., much regretted by a large circle of relatives and friends. The departed Lady had been the parent of 19 children, several of who had been called before her into eternity. She was in her 69th year of her age. 03 Feb. 1855-Died- At Economy, after 8 days sickness on the 18th Jan; in the 79th year of his age, Charles Hill, Sr; much beloved by all that had the pleasure of his acquaintance- and left a widow to lament the loss of a kind and affectionate husband, and a number of children to mourn the loss of a kind and tender parent. He was born at Ecoonomy, and always lived near the same spot. He was a man that feared God, and commanded his household after Him.( Novascotian of 5 Feb.1855) 10 Feb. 1855- Died- Suddenly, on the 29 ult; at Upper Stewiacke, of croupe, Susannah, eldest d/o John Archibald, aged 9 years and 9 months.
