Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late John and Sarah (Bragg) Power. She was a long-time employee of Ayerst McKenna and Harrison, Montreal. She resided for a number of years in Bible Hill, moving to Montreal in 1941, where she lived for 40 years prior to moving to Geraldton. She is survived by a son, Michael, Geraldton; a nephew, Robert Power, Truro. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Ross Manchester; a sister, Mrs Ethel Romyn. Funeral was held Friday, Mar. 25 at the Mattatall Funeral Home, Truro, Rev. Valerie Ternes officiating. Spring burial in Watson Cemetery, Truro. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Extended Care Wing of Geraldton Hospital.
