Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Susan (McKay) Lusby. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Glasgow, and of the CWL. She worked for many years in her family's drugstore as a bookkeeper and was a member of the IODE. She is survived by a daughter, Susan Torrens, Halifax; two sons, Grant Ormaond (sic), Fraser's Mountain; William (Bill), Merigomish; a sister, Mrs Harriett Paul, Boston, Mass.; 11 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Grant; a brother, William Lusby; an infant sister; a grandson. Funeral service was Saturday, Apr. 23 in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Rev. Angus MacDougall officiating. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery.
