Hi folks, I just got back from Pictou County yesterday after a twenty hour drive. What a great time! I managed to meet a few people who I've met on the list and had a terrific afternoon with Peg Vodicka and George Desjardins last Saturday. Today I am going through Tim Horton's withdrawal. No more chili lunches, coffee and donuts for awhile as I was gaining a ton! The folks at the Pictou Roots Society were as helpful as ever and I have lots of new information to add to the family history as a result. For those of you who have sent me emails over the past two weeks I will be turning on the old laptop tomorrow and working through them and expect to be finished by the end of the day.
