10 July1882 - died- No tiding of the missing men of the schooner "MASSASOIT" of this port [ Halifax], which struck an iceburg and sunk on the night of June 16th. They are JOSEPH BARRY, three brothers named GROVES, of Chester, N.S. and a man named NAUSS of N.S. The missing men have now been given up as lost. 29 Feb.1884 - married - At Truro on the 20th Feb., by Rev. J. E. Goucher, Mr. HEDLEY SWALLOW of Wentworth to ETTA BARRY of Truro. 29 April 1884 - married - At Truro on the 12th inst., by Rev. S. B. Dunn, Mr. ROBERT FISHER to CATHERINE BARTLETT both of Truro.
