The closest name I could find to Mealey was Mellie and it listed a Margaret Mellie, widow, born 23 Sep. 1851 and her son Alexander, born Aug. 7 1884. She ran a boarding house and the census lists 12 boarders with various surnames. It also has her sister, Libby Campbell. This was shown in the census for New Glasgow # 3 Regards, Doug.
