Author: jebuote Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.canada.novascotia.pictou/5540.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Hi, I did a bit of checking for you but there doesn't seem to be much info. John W Vincent b. 1834 in Nova Scotia (possibly New Annan, Colchester Co.) married Mary Ann Rogers b. 1833 in Nova Scotia - I couldn't find a record of marriage but I believe they were married in the 1850's. The Nova Scotia Vital Statistics does not have many marriages recorded for the 50's. John W Vincent is listed in the 1901 Canada census as living in Brookfield, Colchester Co., NS. Harriet Amelia m. James King in Pictou on 22 Apr 1880 James Burton m. Maria Eleanor Louther in Truro on 30 Apr 1897. Edith married Franklin L Slade in Boston, Mass., USA on 24 Aug 1909. It's not much but perhaps a little to start -- I didn't find a Robert D but rather a David Reubenson b. 1866. Good Luck!!
