Surnames: Watson, Noble, Kaglar/Kagler Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/WOC.2ACE/2910 Message Board Post: I have located a death certificate for a Charles Noble WATSON who died on November 6, 1924 in St. George (St. George Parish, Charlotte County, New Brunswick. He was buried in St. George but came to the are from Nova Scotia and resided with the Gustavis and Christiana (Dean?) KAGLER/KAGLAR family. In the 1901 census he was listed as a lodger with the family. He worked as a quarryman and his date of birth was listed as October 5, 1876. His origin was shown to be Scotch and he had come from Nova Scotia. "Christie", born July 1, 1852 was shown as the wife of Agustus KAGLAR. She too was from Nova Scotia. Charles' death certificate shows his origin to be Irish and that he was born in Nova Scotia. His father's name was listed as Alex WATSON and his mother's name was listed as Annie (?) NOBLE. Both of their birth places were shown as Pictou, Nova Scotia. In the obituary of Christie KAGLAR, Charles WATSON (WESTON) was listed as an adopted son. On Charles Noble WATSON's death certificate Wm. George KAGLAR (son of Gustavis and Christie) was shown as the "informant" and his relationship to the deceased was listed as "cousin". As I am presently researching the KAGLAR family tree I would be interested in finding out the "story" behind Charles and what his ture relationship was to the family.

Hi Kathy, Any chance you can obtain a death certificate for your gr grandfather from Philadelphia? It may state his parents' names if they were known by the informant...... this way his parents could more easily be found in census records.
