J. David Hirtle 1950 Bridgewater Bulletin At 2 a.m., Thursday, May 11th., David Hirtle passed away at his home in Dayspring after a short illness. He is survived by two daughters, Beatrice, Mrs. Kenneth Fraser, Bridgewater; and Mary Hirtle, R.N., Boston; also one son, Clifford of Dayspring. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Amanda Connor, Moncton and Mrs. Mary Martin, Beverly, Mass.; and one brother, James Hirtle of Bridgewater. There are also five grandchildren, Norman, Warren, and Mary Hirtle, Walter Fraser, and Mrs. Murray Veinot and three great grandchildren, Bruce and Linda Hirtle and Cheryl Veinot. His wife, the former Esther Hamm, predeceased him fifteen years ago also one great grandson, Billy Hirtle who was killed by an auto last May 24. The funeral was held at the Baptist Church, Dayspring, on Saturday, May 13, at 2:30 p.m. Rev. D.L. Kennedy, Bridgewater, conducted the service.
