Roy Josiah Mosher 1978 Bridgewater Bulletin Roy Josiah Mosher, age 78, passed away suddenly at Shoreham Village on August 19, Although in failing health for the past ten years, his death came as a shock to relatives and friends. He was born in Lincoln, New Hampshire April 28, 1900, the son of the late Willard and Edna (Joudrey) Mosher. He was a retired farmer. Surviving are his wife, the former Althea Awalt; three daughters, Edna (Mrs. Ronald Grimm), Parkdale; Melba (Mrs. Glenn Sarty), Bridgewater; and Iris, at home; two sons, Harry, New Glasgow; and Willard, Labrador City; a sister, Violet (Mrs. John Young), Medford, Mass.; a brother, Simeon, Livermore Falls, Maine; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son and a daughter; two sisters, and a brother. The funeral was held on Monday, August 21, at Langille's Funeral Home, New Germany with Rev. John Boyd officiating. Interment was in the Parkdale- Maplewood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Glenn Sarty, Ronald Grimm Senior, Ronald Grimm Junior, Dwight Grimm, Angus Powell, and Karl Stevens. The largel attended funeral, the flowers of remembrance,and memorial donations showed the great respect held for Roy J. Mosher.
