    3. Erlin James Peeler 1992 Halifax Chronicle Herald Erlin James Peeler, 66, First South, died September 9, 1992, in Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born at Rose Bay, he was a son of the late James and Ellen (Zinck) Peeler. He served during the Second World War with the Royal Canadian Air Force; served five years with the Merchant Marine; served 20 years with R.C.E.M.E. He was also retired from National Sea Products, Lunenburg Division. He was a member of Bridgewater I.O.O.F. Lodge for 45 years; member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 24, Bridgewater; member of Grace Lutheran Church, First South; active for many years with South Shore Minor Hockey Association. He is survived by his wife, the former Myrna Virginia Bolivar; daughter, Ruth (Mrs. Michael Secord), Calgary; three sons, James, First South; Brian, Bridgewater; David, Ottawa; two sisters, Doris (Mrs. Roy Whynot), Bridgewater; Marie (Mrs. George Matta), LaSalle, Quebec; eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Ross and Charles. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Shepherd Hill Cemetery, Riverport, Rev. Donald Himmelman officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society or any charity, through Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg.
