Phyllis Kathleen Himmelman 1999 Halifax Chronicle Herald Phyllis Kathleen Himmelman, 88, Bridgewater, passed away December 20, 1999, in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born at New Germany, she was a daughter of the late William and Katherine (Smith) Zwicker. She was a graduate of Woonsocket Hospital, Rhode Island and practiced as a registered nurse at the Dawson Memorial Hospital in Bridgewater before marriage. She was a longtime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bridgewater. She is survived by sons, Dr. Donald and wife Edythe Himmelman, Pentz; Dr. John and wife Helga Guderly, Sillery, Quebec; a daughter, Ann and husband Frank Gonzalez, Crescent Beach; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Gregory Gonzalez; Nicholas and Tristan Himmelman; Melissa and Stephen Himmelman Dowse; a sister, Laura Zwicker, Halifax. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry F. in 1990; a sister ,Gladys Murphy in 1970. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 7-9 p.m., in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bridgewater, Rev. James Slack Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewtaer.
