Daisy Kells 1998 Halifax Chronicle Herald Daisy Kells, 96, died December 29, 1998, in hospital, Westboro, Mass. She was a daughter of the late Thomas and Amy (Veinot) Norwood, Baker settlement. She moved to the United States when she was in her 20's. She kept close ties to Nova Scotia and was an avid outdoorsperson who enjoyed fishing and all the animals and birds that nature provides. She also enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, playing cards, and baseball games. She was a faithful member of the United Church of Christ, Webster, Mass. Surviving are brother, Clement, Dartmouth; sister, Marian Veno, Moncton, formerly of Halifax; 13 nieces and eight nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Harry; sisters, Flo, Sadie, Cora, in infancy; brothers, Warren, Robert, Donald, Guy. She maintained her own home in Webster until a year ago when, due to failing health, she moved to Westboro, and was cared for by friends, Joyce and Lawrence Zwicker. Graveside service was held January 2. Arrangements were entrusted to Robert Miller's Funeral Home, Webster.
