The Chronicle Herald, Tuesday, 27 May 1969 BYRON MANSON SPONAGLE, 64, of Sheet Harbor, was buried in the church cemetery following funeral service in St. James United Church, Sheet Harbor. He died in the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax. He was the son of the late Agustus and Agnes Sponagle, Goldboro. He is survived by his wife, Mabel; six sisters, Ina, Montreal; Mabel (Mrs. John Walker), Truro; Olive (Mrs. Russell Christianson) and Irene (Mrs. Neil MacDonald), Halifax; Alberta (Mrs. Kenneth Smith), Aspen; Doris (Mrs. Charles Hudson), Goldboro; five brothers, Morton, Liverpool; Harold and Lester, Halifax; Robert, Sussex; Edwin, Goldenville; several nieces and nephews.
