Surviving are his wife; daughter, Carol Anne and Walter (Skip) Masson, Saint John; son, Ross and Beverly, Springfield; grrandchildren, Andrew and Angela Veinot, Springfield; Kimberly and Dan White, London, Ontario; Kevin Briggs, Scarborough; great-grandson, Luke Alexander White; two stepdaughters; three stepsons; 11 step-grandchildren; two step-great-great grandchildren; sister, Jennie Veno, Newburn; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friend, Charles Whitenect. Predeceased by his first wife, Marion Belle (Earle) Veinot; sister, Elizabeth; and his buddies, Charlie Burrs, John Coleman, Burton Short, and Jurne Thorsen. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home, Norton, today from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in Trinity Anglican Church, Springfield, Tuesday, March 3, 1998, at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Kiersteadville Cemetery in the spring. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, or memorial of donor's choice.
