Franklyn John Zwicker 2004 Halifax Chronicle Herald Franklyn John "Frankie" Zwicker, 49, Baker Settlement, passed away Monday, October 25, 2004, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, with his family at his side, after suffering a stroke. Born at Bridgewater, he was a son of Esther (Wile) (Zwicker) Wentzell, Baker Settlement, and the late Harold Zwicker and stepson of Cyril Wentzell, Baker Settlement. Frank began his plumbing career along with his brother, Leonard, with the former Powers Brothers of Lunenburg. He worked for a short period of time at Michelin in Bridgewater. In 1991, he began his own business known as Frank Zwicker Plumbing and Heating Limited working from his home in Baker Settlement. He also enjoyed his time spent working on his Christmas tree land. He had hoped to spend more time doing this with his new John Deere tractor which was his dream come true. He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 29 years, Anne (Bolivar); special daughter, Amy (Andrew Morine), Bridgewater; sisters, Lucy (Bruce) Bailey, Dayspring; Anne Llewellyn (Paul Naugler), Camperdown; brother, Richard (Beverly), Italy Cross; sister-in-law, Diane Zwicker, Wileville; aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be missed by family pet dog, Dana. He was predeceased by his brother, Leonard Zwicker, Wileville. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater, with cremation to follow. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bridgewater, Rev. Mark Wagschal officiating. Private family burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater, at a later date. A reception will follow at the Zwicker home in Wileville. Immediate family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada, Maritime Region.
