UNKNOWN PAPER - 2 FEBRUARY 1954 VICTOR STEVENSON - Waldegrave - There passed away, on January 25, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. (Rev) Charles FOOTE at Baddeck, C.B., a former resident of this community, Victor STEVENSON, in his 64th year. Born at Brule Point, eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. D.E. STEVENSON, he resided in the Canadian West, for a number of years. Returning to Nova Scotia, he purchased a farm from George D. KENNEDY, where they resided, until four years ago, when he sold his property and moved to Windsor, Ont. Failing health caused him to return to N.S. In the immediate family he is survived by his wife, the former Annie McKINNON of Brule; three daughters and one son, Dorothy, Mrs. FOOTE, Baddeck; Irene, Mrs. HILCHEY, Moncton; Kathleen, Mrs. LENNOX, Windsor, Ont.; and Donald of the R.C.A.F.; also several sisters and brothers. Funeral services were conducted at Baddeck, and interment at Lockerby Cemetery on January 28.
