Clark E. Wentzell 1948 Bridgewater Bulletin The community of Maplewood was saddened once more on Sunday, the twenty-ninth day of May, when death claimed Clark E. Wentzell, in his 70th. year. He was a life-long resident of Maplewood. He leaves to mourn the loss of a loving husband and father, his sorrowing wife, who before her marriage was Louise Dorey, of Maplewood, and who tenderly cared for him during his illness; two daughters, Hazel (Mrs. Garfield Oickle), Branch LaHave; Frances (Mrs. Percy Jodrey), Maplewood; two sons, Lyle, Lower Branch; Russell, Andover, Maine. An infant daughter predeceased him thirty-three years ago. There survive also one sister, Elnora (Mrs. E. Poole), Bridgetown; also ten grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. The fuenral which was held at his late residence on Tuesday afternoon was largely attended and was conducted by the pastor, Rev. B.G. Smith, Barss Corner. The pall bearers were his two sons and two sons-in-law. Interment was at Parkdale Cemetery.
