Carrie Lucretia Veinotte 1997 Halifax Chronicle Herald Carrie Lucretia Veinotte, 90, Newburne, died October 2, 1997, at home. Born at Newburne, she was a daughter of the late Hibbert Binney and Adelaide (Seletus) (Veinotte) Beck. She was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Newburne; the Ladies Aid; and was a Sunday School teacher. Surviving are daughters, Marion Nauss, First Peninsula; Mildred (Mrs. Murray Jodrie), Hebbville; son, Warren, Newburne; sister, Hazel (Mrs. Gordon Wentzell), Newburne; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a great-great- grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, Warren; daughter, Pauline; son, Harry Lee; sister, Ida; brother, Clarence. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Langille's Funeral Home, New Germany. Funeral 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Newburne, Rev. Ted Heintz officiating. Burial in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
