Mildred Aileen Pyke 1992 Halifax Chronicle Herald Mildred Aileen (Alice) Pyke, 77, Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg, died July 4, 1992, in the home. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Hedley N. and Lavinia A. (Smeltzer) Pyke. She was a member of Central United Church, Lunenburg. She is survived by a half- brother, Douglas Pyke, Lunenburg, a niece and a nephew. The body was cremated under the direction of Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg, Rev. Vincent Ihasz officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care or any charity.
