UNKNOWN PAPER - 23 JANUARY 1984 ALEXANDER THOMAS MACKAY, 73, 102 Brunswick Street, Truro, died Saturday in Colchester Hospital. Born in Earltown, he was a son of the late Thomas and Mary (MURRAY) MacKAY. He attended Pictou Academy for one year and worked for Eastern Transport, Truro, for 12 years. He is survived by his wife, the former Cora Kathleen PINCH; a step-daughter Edith, Vancouver; a step-son, John WHEELER, Vancouver; a brother, John, Tatamagouche; two sisters, Marion (Mrs. Charlie MacGILL), Earltown; Jennie (Mrs. Doug SLACK), Debert. He was predeceased by three brothers, Dan, Hector and Lloyd. The body is in Mattatall's Funeral Home, Truro, where funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. George H. MacLEAN officiating, with burial in Watson Cemetery, Truro at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
