Miss Lydia Hebb 1944 Bridgewater Bulletin Handwritten date: May 31, 1944. The death of Miss Lydia Hebb, Hebbville, occurred at the home of Mrs. Charles Bolivar, Cookville, where she was being cared for during the past two weeks, at 7:30 on Wednesday evening. In poor health for some months she had been seriously ill for the past four weeks. A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Josiah Hebb, she was born at Hebbville 73 years ago. Surviving is a sister residing in the United States. She was predeceased by a number of brothers and a sister. A brother, Ira Hebb, of Hebbville, passed away only a few months ago. The funeral was held from the home of her nephew, Cecil Hebb, Hebbville, at 11 o'clock on Saturday morning with Rev. J.M. Sproule, pastor of St. John's United Church, officiating.
