    3. UNKNOWN PAPER - 21 AUGUST 1984 STANLEY FRANK MACKENZIE, 60, of Nuttby, Truro, died Tuesday at home. Born in Upper North River, he was a son of stepfather Daniel and Christine (MacKENZIE) MacMASTER. He was a retired construction worker. He served overseas during the Second World War with the North Nova Scotia Highlanders. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Colchester Branch #26. He is survived by his wife, the former Gladys BLACKMORE; five sons, Leo, Elroy, Terry, Larry, all of Nuttby; Ivan, North River; seven daughters, Velma (Mrs. Fred KAYE), North River; Verna (Mrs. Paul CAIN), Truro Heights; Christine (Mrs. Glen HORTON) and Carla, both of Lower Sackville; Eunice, Nuttby; Shelly (Mrs. Robert DAYE), Bible Hill; Gwen, Truro; six half-brother, Ernest MacMASTER, Bridgewater; Walter and Donald MacMASTER, Truro; Robert MacMASTER, Timberlea; Hugh MacMASTER, North River; Frank MacMASTER, Manganese Mines; seven half-sisters, Ethel (Mrs. Almon MILLER), Upper Stewiacke; Mrs. Kathleen McLEARN, Truro; Jean (Mrs. Rufus McCALLUM), Marjory (Mrs. Lester BRYSON) and Marguerite (Mrs. Lyle HARVEY), all of Hilden; Edna (Mrs. Ron CROWE), Truro; Isabel (Mrs. Robert BAISLEY), Moncton; 13 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father, a half-sister Helen, a half-brother Alfred. The body is in Mattatall's Funeral Home, Truro where funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Blackmore Cemetery, Upper North River. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or any charity.
