Joseph Feindel 1922 Bridgewater Bulletin The community of New Germany was very deeply shocked to hear of the sudden death of Joseph Feindel on September 11, at Bridgewater. Mr. Feindel was held highly in esteem by all those who knew him. He was manager of the New Germany Pulp Mill for eighteen years, during which time his dealings with mankind were upright and honest. During the last eleven years he was living at the home of Allison Snyder, Bridgewater. Mr. Feindel was 77 years of age and leaves to mourn his loss, two sisters, Mrs. Elias Varner and Mrs. Elkanah Lohnes, now at New Germany; also four brothers, William and Obediah at New Germany; Albert at Dayspring; and Hezekiah in the United States. The funeral service took place at the home of Mr. Snyder on Tuesday afternoon, September 12th., at 2 o'clock. Interment was made at St. John's Cemetery, New Germany, the Rev. W.M. Knickle officiating.
