I think this should be Mr. Fred Oxner. He was John Frederick Oxner born 1 June 1846 and died 15 Dec. 1921. He was s/o John M. Oxner and and Margaret A. Smith. Fred's wife was Sarah Harriett Corkum born 27 Dec. 1851 (1901 Census) and died 30 July 1931. Here is Sarah Corkum Oxner's obit... Progress Enterprise Wednesday, August 5, 1931 Page 1 The death of Mrs. Sarah Oxner, widow of the late Fred Oxner of Lower LaHave, took place on Thursday last at the home of her daughter Mrs. Esther Westhaver, Martin's Brook, at the age of 80 years. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Corkum (nee Grim) of Corkum's Island. Her married life was spent at Lower LaHave where she was well and favorably known. She was a person of keen intellect and took a great interest in social and religious matters. Deceased was a good mother and kind and affectionate wife and friend. She will be sadly missed in her church and family circle and by her many friends. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Freeman Wentzel of Riverport, Mrs. A. C. Zinck of Rose Bay, Mrs. Esther Westhaver of Martin's Brook and Mrs. Gordon Walfield of LaHave Islands; four sons, Charles Sr., William, Wallace and Capt. Norman, also 25 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. The late Mrs. James Barnes of Boston (Annie) was also a daughter of deceased. The funeral services were held on Friday and were conducted by Rev. Gravenor of the Presbyterian Church, Lunenburg. Interment was made in the Lower LaHave Cemetery.
