William Z. Wentzell 1973 Bridgewater Bulletin The death of William Z. Wentzell, age 88, of Wentzell's Lake, occurred at the Dawson Memorial Hospital, Bridgewater, Saturday, July 7, 1973. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Mary E. Bruhm. He is survived by two daughters, Ethel (Mrs. Charles Ramey) of West Northfield and Helen, at home; three grandchildren, Walton Cook of Lunenburg; Greta (Mrs. Robert Lowe), of Bridgewater; and Dawn (Mrs. Dale MacDonald), of Halifax; one brother, Merle of Branch LaHave; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held on Monday, July 9, from St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, West Northfield with Rev. Rolf Meindl officiating. Hymns sung were favourites of the deceased, "Unto The Hills," "Breathe on Me, Breath of God," and "We Praise Thee, O God." Pall bearers were Arnold Conrad, James Bruhm, Robert Bruhm, Paul Bruhm, Lawrence Bruhm, and David Bruhm.
