UNKNOWN PAPER - 9 NOVEMBER 1984 ALEXANDER EDWIN MACBURNIE, 57, of Malagash, died Friday in the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche. Born in Malagash, he was a son of the late Norman and Mary (STUDIVAN) MacBURNIE. He is survived by his wife, the former Margaret DRUMMOND; a daughter, Cynthia and a son CRAIG, both at home; a brother, James, Winnipeg; two sisters, Eileen (Mrs. Gilbert LANGILLE), Halifax and Viola (Mrs. Alfred MacCARTHY), Sheet Harbour and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert. The body is in Coulter's Funeral Home, Tatamagouche. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday in South Shore United Church, Malagash, Rev. Morley BENTLEY officiating. Burial will be in church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart Fund, the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital or any charity.
