Hazel Estell Bolivar 2006 Halifax Chronicle Herald Hazel Estell Bolivar, 91, Baker Settlement, passed away at home on Friday, July 7, 2006. Born at Baker Settlement, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Jane (Knox) Bolivar. Surviving are her daughter, Anne Zwicker, Baker Settlement; sons, Lawrence (Carolyn), Oakhill; David (Edith), Timberlea; Ervin (Judy Taylor), Baker Settlement; Mervin (Heather) Oakville, Ontario; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Randolph, Baker Settlement; Leo, Branch LaHave; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Maurice; an infant daughter; a sister; and several brothers. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater, where funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. Willis Ott officiating, with cremation to follow. Private family burial to follow in Baker Settlement Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to Baker Settlement Cemtery Fund or a charity of choice.
