    3. Mary Elizabeth Mader 1949 Bridgewater Bulletin After an illness from childhood, patiently and cheerfully borne, Mary Elizabeth, beloved daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. Oswald Mader, was released from her helplessness and suffering on Friday noon, May 20th. She was 28 years of age. Her passing is keenly felt by her parents and brothers who have the sympathy of the community. Mary is survived by her parents and two brothers, Alfred of Halifax and Robert of Ontario, who reached home just before his sister's passing. There is also in the home her aged grandmother, Mrs. Freeman Mader, who also feels her loss keenly. Two brothers, Edward and Freeman, predeceased her. The funeral service was held at her home on Monday afternoon at 2:30 and was conducted by Rural Dean G.F. Arnold, of St. James' Church of England. Mary's favourite hymns were sung," What A Friend we Have in Jesus," The Old Rugged Cross," and "Peace, Perfect Peace." The solo, "Somewhere" was sung by Rev. J. Parker Matheson, of Trinity United Church. The many beautiful flowers paid silent tribute of the many friends to the deceased and their sympathy to the family. The pall bearers were her brothers, Alfred and Robert, Karl Ernst and Murray Barry. Interment was in Park Cemetery.
