Mrs. George Cole 1931 Bridgewater Bulletin Agnes Johnston, beloved wife of George Cole, died at Simpson's Corner, March 15th., 1931, at the age of 57 years, after a short illness. She was a native of Edinburgh, Scotland, and came to this country about 45 years ago, and has made many friends in the community in which she lived. She was highly esteemed by all who knew her, always having a smile for everyone. In religion she was a member of the United Church and her pastor, Rev. C. McRae, preached a very impressive sermon. She leaves to mourn their loss, a husband and two daughters, Mrs. Walter Hubley, of this place, and Mrs. James Hubley, of Farmington; also one brother, Alexander Johnston of Allston, Mass., who with his son, attended the funeral; also a host of friends.
