Dorothy Eloise Ralph 2002 Halifax Chronicle Herald Dorothy Eloise " Dot" Ralph, 83, Windsor, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2000, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born September 26, 1918, at Thomson Station, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late James and Viola (Matheson) Ralph. Dot was in the education field for 35 years, starting as a teacher and finishing with the Provincial Department of Education as a divisional supervisor. Her teaching career involved schools in the Canadian West, the United States, and finishing her last 25 years in Nova Scotia. She was a member of Nova Scotia Retired Teachers Association. She was a member of Three Mile Plains Women's Bible Society and had also sung in St. John's Presbyterain Church Choir. For the past 10 years she was a resident of Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Surviving are sisters, Ola Tattrie-Fast, Truro; Vera Boyd, High River, Alberta; nieces, Bonnie Sutherland, Calgary; Dorothy Burback, Kamloops; nephews, Dave Boyd, Calgary; Billy Boyd, Kentville. She was predeceased by niece, Carol McDorman. No visitation by request. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, in the chapel of Lindsay's Windsor Funeral Home, Rev. Jeffrey White and Rev. John Boyd officiating. Interment in the family plot, in Robie Street Cemetery, Truro. Family flowers only, by request, memorial donations may be made to Dykeland Lodge, Windsor.
