Brian Edgar Rowter 1998 Halifax Chronicle Herald Brian Edgar Rowter, 55, Kempt, Queens County, died January 17, 1998, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. He was a son of Freda (Lewis) Rowter and the late William Rowter. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church, Maitland Bridge and a former member of North Queens Ground Search and Rescue. Surviving are his wife, the former Pauline Mary Veinot; sons, Trevor and Sherrie, Lower Branch; Derek and Margaret, Halifax; brothers, Clarke and Marlene, Melvern Square; Bruce and Sandra, Kempt; sisters, Jeanette and Robert Rawding, Northfield, Queens County; Claire and Harley White, Kempt; numerous nieces and nephews. The remains have been donated to Dalhousie Medical School. A private memorial service, for family and relatives only, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Paul's United Church, Maitland Bridge, Rev. Betsy Hogan officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer society or The Lodge that Gives. Arrangements entrusted to R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville.
