James Mosher 1944 James Mosher, a highly respected citizen of Lower Kingsburg, passed away at his home early Wednesday morning, March 29th. Mr. Mosher who was nearly 88 years old, had been ill only a few weeks suffering from an ear infection. Deceased was born at Kingsburg, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Mosher and resided there all his life. He was a fisherman-farmer and after retiring from the sea, devoted his entire time to his farm. His wife predeceased him almost four years ago. He is survived by two sons, Howard and Jason, both of Kingsburg; two daughters, Eva (Mrs. Wallace Knock), of Kingsburg; and Inez (Mrs. Cecil Mossman), Rose Bay; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. The funeral was held from his home on Thursday afternoon and was conducted by his pastor, Rev. J.A. Grant of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, of which he was a faithful and valued member. Rev. W.K. Pace of Trinity United Church assisted at the service. Rev. Grant took his discourse from the text," The Master has come and calleth for thee." The hymns sung were "Abide With Me" and "Nearer, My God, to Thee." Pall bearers were Simon Hirtle, Obediah Mossman, Samuel Knock, and Wm. Mossman. Interment was made at Kingsburg.
