Edson Willet Daniels 2002 Halifax Chronicle Herald Edson Willet Daniels, 89, Front Centre, died Tuesday, December 17, 2002, in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax.Born at Centre, Edson was a son of the late Titus and Asneth (Beck) Daniels. In his early years, Edson worked for National Sea Products, Lunenburg Division and then spent years selling fish door to door in the local area. He then returned to work at National Sea until his retirement. He was a former trustee of Sunny Valley Cemetery and was a member of Central United Church, Lunenburg. Edson is survived by his wife, the former Frances Arenburg; son, Clyde and his wife Bev Daniels, Bridgewater; sister, Gertrude Keeping, Halifax; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by son, David; brothers, Clarence, Harvey, Francis; sisters, Bessie, Letha, and two infant sisters. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg, with visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in Central United Church, Lunenburg, Rev. Grace Caines-Corkum officiating. Interment will be in Sunny Valley Cemetery, Centre. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Central United Church Roof Fund, Sunny Valley Cemetery or Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.
