Myrtle Idella Garber 1992 Halifax Chronicle Herald Myrtle Idella Garber, 80, Middleton, died October 30, 1992, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born at Springfield, she was a daughter of the late Adelbert and Cora (McNayr) Sanford. She was a member of Middleton United Baptist Church; Women's Missionary Society; and Myrtle Rebekah Lodge, No. 46. She was an organist in Springfield United Baptist Church for 30 years and served as president of Springfield Women's Missionary Society for 10 years. She is survived by a daughter, Marion, Middleton; son, Murray, Lower Sackville; sister, Mrs. Reta Naugler, Middleton; two grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Ronald; three sisters, Minnie, Ruth, Pearl. The body is in Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton, where a Lodge service will be 7:30 p.m. tonight, and where funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Rev. Norman Hovland officiating. Burial will be in Springfield Cemetery. Donations may be made to Springfield Cemetery or Soldiers Memorial Hospital.
