The Truro Daily News, Thursday, April 10, 1985 RONALD RUPERT MCNUTT, 62, of MacCullum's Settlement, Colchester County, died Wednesday in Colchester Hospital, Truro. Born in North River, he was a son of the late Leslie and Vera (McGILL) McNUTT. He was an adherent of First Baptist Church. He served overseas during the Second World War, and was a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Colchester Branch #26. He is survived by three brothers, Vernon, Bible Hill; Laurie, Kelowna, B.C.; Rev. Edgar, Saint John, N.B.; two sisters, Mrs. Florence CROSBY, Truro; Mrs. Nina RONDEAU, Toronto; four half-brothers, Ivan and Freeman, Truro; Trueman, Kemptown, Leo, Newton Mills; four half-sisters, Phyllis (Mrs. Ralph GRAHAM, Eastville; Cecila (Mrs. George KENNEDY), Otter Brook; Margaret (Mrs. George TRUEMAN), Truro Heights; Kathleen (Mrs. Gerald HAWKINS), Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Ralph; and a half-brother, Layton. The body is in Mattatall's Funeral Home, Truro, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, with Rev. Dr. Malcolm HARLOW, officiating. Burial will be in Blackmore Memorial Cemetery, Upper North River.
