Truth Arenetta Lonergan 1997 Halifax Chronicle Herald Truth Arenetta Lonergan, 93, South Berwick, died March 24, 1997, in Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born at Cape Sable Island, she was a daughter of the late Sidney and Mary (Brown) Stephens. She had resided in South Berwick for the past 74 years. She was a member of Berwick United Baptist Church, and 44 year charter and life member of the South Berwick Women's Institute. Surviving are daughters, Shirley Hennigar, Waterville; Margaret (Mrs. James Lamb), Somerset; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a niece and a nephew. She was predeceased by her husban d, Joseph; twin sister, Hope. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today in H.C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, 192 Commercial Street, Berwick. Funeral 2 p.m. Thursday in Berwick United Baptist Church, Pastor Shawn Kehoe officiating. Burial in Berwick Cemetery. Family flowers only.
