Marion Selena Bower 1996 Bridgewater Bulletin 1918-1996 Marion S. Bower, 77, Garden Lots, died July 28, 1996, in Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Kingston, Nova Scotia, she was the only daughter of the late George Rufus Toole and Elva Iona (Cooney) Toole. Surviving are daughters, Cheryl (Mrs. Ronald Corkum), Lunenburg; Monica Wentzell, Garden Lots; Wanda (Mrs. Frankie Veinotte), Garden Lots; sons, Stephen, Lunenburg and Beverly, Saint John; brothers, Clyde, Kingston; and Robie, Bridgewater; 19 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Carl, and brothers, Burton, Murray, and Harold. She was a member of Central United Church, Lunenburg. A memorial service was held there on August 1, 1996, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Vincent Ihasz officiating. Burial of ashes for family took place at Hillcrest Cemetery.
