UNKNOWN PAPER - 13 SEPTEMBER 1943 GEORGINA MACDONALD - There passed away at her home in Tatamagouche on Tuesday, Sept. 7 Georgina, wife of Joseph MacDONALD. Mrs. MacDONALD was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George McKAY, of Earltown. After her marriage her home was for some years at Ferguson's Crossing and later in Tatamagouche, where she had many friends. She was of a quiet home loving disposition and was until illness prevented, interested in the welfare of the community in which she lived. For over thirteen years she has been an invalid and everything possible was done for her comfort. She leaves besides her husband and son Ernest, three sisters, Mrs. HENDERSON, of Boston, Mass.; Mrs. BAILEY, of Pugwash, and Mrs. Rufus MacNUTT, of Sandville. The funeral on Thursday at her home was largely attended. The floral tributes were lovely. Rev. J. WILLIAMS officiated and music was provided by members of the choirs of Sedgewick Memorial and Sharon choirs. Interment was in the family lot in Lockerby Cemetery.
